Sketchfab Weekly Challenge Week 12: Planet Earth

Everything was modeled and animated in Blender. I added some clouds and stars to let the earth look more shiny.

The idea is not quite new but I like the hex look (which is usually used in some sci-fi scenes as a holograph) combined with a simple low-poly style. This makes it look like a board game like Catan but in 3D.
