3D scan of a cast of a plateosaur (Plateosaurus trossingensis) skull and a digitally edited 3D model based on this scan. The cast was made from an original skull that is on display at the Stuttgart State Museum of Natural History. After scanning the cast, the skull had to be adapted and reshaped digitally. The edited 3D model was used to 3D print the skull for a fully mounted skeleton.

The fully mounted skeleton of the plateosaur will soon be exhibited in hall 8 of the NHM Vienna.
