The unfired clay sculpture ‘Playing with clay, Glazed 2024’, is a captivating artefact, was born from the innovative Clay and Augmented Reality project sponsored by Arts Council England DYCP grant.
‘Museum of My Mother and I’ is a collection of artworks created during immersive 3.5-hour art workshops that explored the intersection between two media, clay and augmented reality. The collectoion was inspired by childhood memories. This sculpture was created as an inspirational source for the workshop exploring touch and memory through pushing and modifying clay with fingers only.
3D models enable users of the Museum ‘My Mother & I’ to experience the “Collective Space of Childhood’ by uploading them into AR/VR aplications. Everyone is welcome to download 3D Models and use them in a creative way as long as credit is given to originasl creator. The imperfectness (gaps) in 3D models represent the illusory qualities of our memories.
