Point Cloud of Kellogg Mansion3D ModelNoAI
This waterfront home in Dunedin, Florida was once owned by cereal magnate W.K. Kellogg. Known as the Kellogg Mansion, the home was demolished in 2022 due in part to years of neglect and abandonment. The home’s architectural design is reminiscent of an Addison Mizner Spanish Mediterranean design. The house was constructed in 1925 for Richard Frischkorn who developed Dunedin Isles and the Dunedin Isles Golf Course. The house was a model home for the development and appeared in advertisements. In the modern era, the house was altered to include a disco room and lavish murals and artwork. Despite the home now being demolished, this 3D documentation project digitally preserved the structure and environs, with a 3D virtual tour developed through community partnerships between the USF DHHC and the Pinellas Community Foundation, the Dunedin Public Library, and the Dunedin History Museum.
