More model informationPolygonal axe from Lofta parish, Småland. Polygonal axes were ceremonial axes associated with the Funnel Beaker Culture. The appear during the Early Neolithic,c:a 4000-3300 BC. This specimen i rather large, measuring more than 20 cm in length. It has a weathered surface which have originally been either polished or finely hammered.
