This is a civil engineering work built between 1796 and 1801, the product of a project to build the first road over the river Xúquer during the reign of Carlos III. This initiative, which was unfinished in 1801, formed part of the infrastructures of the new Camino Real from Madrid to Valencia after the Royal Decree 1761.

Se trata de una obra de ingeniería civil construida entre 1796 y 1801, producto de un proyecto para construir la primera carretera sobre el río Xúquer durante el reinado de Carlos III. Esta iniciativa, que quedó inacabada en 1801, formaba parte de las infraestructuras del nuevo Camino Real de Madrid a Valencia tras la Cédula Real de 1761.
