a photogrammetry model of the 58ft Towing lighter in Poole Harbour, these were the first purpose built aircraft carriers, used in World War One to tow seaplanes through the use of a floating drydock on the back of the vessels. Due to their preformance under tow a flight deck was later addeed and attempts to fly a Sopwith Camel off the deck under tow were attempted, a zepplin was shot down on the second attempt
