Portrait Of A Man 3D Model
DALOU, Jules (1838 - 1902) The identity of this man is unknown, although his cap suggests he was a sculptor. His sensitive expression and the fine moulding of his face and beard show the vitality of Dalou’s technique. Alongside Auguste Rodin and Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux he was considered one of the most important French sculptors of the period. As a teacher he inspired many others, in France and Britain. Found in the National Museum of Cardiff.
This is the revised edition. Using the original photogrammetry model as a template, I re-worked areas that the camera couldn’t get to. Also fleshed out some facial features that was lacking in the original model. I purposely kept the base and shirt very rough like the sculptures of Rodin.
