Pot Ash Point Canal Boat

This is a preliminary model of the Pot Ash Point Canal Boat which is under consideration for addition to the Vermont Underwater Historic Dive Preserve System. This vessel lies in 30ft of water in the Town of Panton, VT. Based on its measurements it appears to be a standard canal boat built before 1862. Of particular note are the large quarried stones that were the vessel’s final cargo.
