This is a Power Bank 3D Model that was created in terms of the course “Creating Digital Collections I” of the MA Media Studies: Digital Cultures at Maastricht University. In this course, we developed a Digital Time Capsule of 3D objects that represent the major ideas, advances, and movements of the first quarter of the 21st century.

The invention of the Power Bank symbolizes a huge transformation in the field of technology during the 21st century. A power bank is a portable device that can supply power from its built-in battery, usually through a USB port. It can charge mobile phones and tablet computers and it usually recharges with a USB power supply.

This particular model is the Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3. It is black and has 2 ports.
