Small section of a wider survey documenting the crash site of a P47-D Republic Thunderbolt that was lost on the 7th May 1944 in Weymouth Bay near Portland.

Probably from the 365th Squadron, 358th Fighter Group and possible pilots are Lt Arthur P. Charbonneau or Lt Norvil K. Averett.
