An homage to the friendly AI characters in classic WW2 games who aren’t too bright and constantly find ways to blow themselves up.
I designed this guy a couple years ago and later decided to use him to learn ZBrush by building the high res, but I still knew very little about 3D. Since starting as a 3D Character Artist at Linden Lab, I’ve applied a lot of what I’ve learned there on his game res version, chipping away over a few months. It’s been a great and difficult learning experience but worth it in the end to see him come to life!
