Overview of the scene

Welcome to a new world unlike anything from our scientific endeavours. This civilisation has made water a key part of their technology, creating interstellar travel from ocean waves and temporal engines attached to simple boats. When the engine spins up and the threshold barrier is crossed at the edge of the water, the traveller is instantly warped to their new location.

Brief Backstory

The planet only has a single inhabitant. Over decades he would return here, slowly building up a research base for a nearby space anomaly, and raising a small family along the way. After a lab accident the family sadly passed away and were buried by the water at the back of the main building. Since then he has lived a life of disrepair and will not leave.
