3D Model

An incredibly realistic 3D model of an old firearm prop. Captured in a series of scans with the ultra-high resolution Spider II, the model perfectly replicates many tiny details of the original gun design including its branding, engravings, and full cocking mechanism. Spider II’s wider field of view proved especially useful when capturing its featureless barrel – boosting tracking and ensuring that no feature was left uncaptured. The barrel’s inside was captured separately and aligned in Artec Studio. Scanning time: 12 mins. Processing time: 1.5 hours.
