Pseudodiploria strigosa (Dana, 1848): considered part of the Diploria genus until recent re- description on 2012. Creates Massive or encrusting colonies. Sinuous valleys 6-9 mm wide with even surface. Well-developed and interlinked columellae. Coloured from purple-brown to grey or greenish with green or grey valley floors. Commonly found on most reef environments on the Caribbean, especially shallow slopes and lagoons.
