This is a Yugoslavian variant of the German Mauser Kar 98k Rifle. This is a post-world war II relic that was already obsolete by the time it was adopted by the Yugoslav Peopless Army. Though this bolt action rifle was soon to be replaced as the standard issue rifle at the end of the 1950s, it still was used extensively by various militias during the Yugoslav wars even 40 years later.
