This specimen comes from the Mahajanga Basin, Berivotra site, Maevarano Formation, dated back to the Maastrichtian.
This chisel-shaped tooth shows marginal wear facets, an apical wear facet tilted of 45° with respect to the transverse plane, and an elongation axis lingually recurved in the apical half of the crown. The cross-section variation (see figure) is similar to the one described for Huabeisaurus allocotus, a Late Cretaceous derived Titanosauriformes.
The specimen is housed at the Museo di Storia Naturale di Milano.
