Triva: Introduced in 2003, the Queensland Rail Diesel Tilt Train, is a high-speed train operating along Queensland’s coastline, covering 1,681 km between Brisbane and Cairns. Branded as the Spirit of Queensland, it accommodates 172 passengers across seven air-conditioned carriages and boasts a maximum operating speed of 160 km/h.

Utilising tilting technology from Japan, the train can tilt up to five degrees in each direction, allowing for smoother travel through curves while maintaining higher speeds and Its two diesel power cars generate a combined output of 3,620 horsepower (2700kW).
