Quillblades take the typical Arcanum process of “skimming” spells a step further, transforming borrowed energy into words of power that serve as arcane batteries. Once they’ve skimmed a battle’s worth of spells, they possess enough firepower to topple the strongest Mechs and Tempests, transforming their Quills into rapiers of blazing light.
