At the Archaeological Park and Ruins of Quiriguá, located in the Department of Izabal, Guatemala, this sandstone monument with ornate carvings is found. This site, which is an inscribed UNESCO World Heritage Site, features this altar in front of the Zoomorph P monument https://skfb.ly/6QTrA. The altar contains various symbols and images that relate to the rule and seating of ruler Sky Xul. It also depicts what is shown on Zoomorph P, which is an accession throne. Moreover, the altar narrates a creation story, and its intricate carvings indicate a high level of quality in the sculpture.
