In an effort to fully absorb and capture the Gearbox look with the Borderlands series and enrich my character portfolio, I chose to model out an unused NPC concept from the Borderlands 3 art book by Sergi Brosa. Very minimal guidance was given to me from Gearbox besides what limitations their current engines may be able to support and I pulled apart various character work to see how optimization could benefit a character.

I optimized this character to have customizable character design to alter symmetry options and enable re-use of character elements for other NPC characters. Full character breakdown and renders will be visible on my artstation page: https://www.artstation.com/harveyhesko
