AI-assisted reconstruction generated from a roadside photograph captured in the American Southwest.

Originally photographed as reference material for collage and design work, the image was used to explore how environmental photography can be transformed into reusable 3D assets. The resulting model captures the distinctive silhouette, weathered materials, and mid-century roadside character of the original sign while allowing it to be viewed and repurposed from any angle.

To improve reconstruction quality, distracting background elements and environmental details were removed before processing. This highlights both the strengths and current limitations of image-to-3D workflows: simple forms reconstruct well, while fine details and complex surroundings can require significant preparation.
