Recumbent fold in turbidites - Sibiciu, Romania

This outcrop exposes the upper Kliwa sandtones (lower Miocene in age), which present recumbent folds, verging to the WNW. It is located near Sibiciu de Sus locality, Romania. Stratigraphically, the rocks exposed here belong to the uppermost part of the upper Kliwa Formation and are overlain by the Upper Menilites and Diatomites.
