This is the character I did for Artstation’s challenge “Ancient Civilizations: Lost & Found” for real-time characters. Render images and other stuff: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/EDgAv Here is my process thread: https://www.artstation.com/contests/ancient-civilizations/challenges/16/submissions/12991# Render Images: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/EDgAv The concept is from Martney Martle’s submission in the character design contest: https://www.artstation.com/contests/ancient-civilizations/challenges/14/submissions/13125#submission-update-49447 It was a personal challenge to create this guy. I’ve never done a character with so many pieces before and I’m very happy with the final results. The green glowing things in the floor are enemie’s magic bolts.
I used Zbrush, Maya, Photoshop, substance painter and 3D-Coat to create this guy.
