A flexible, transportable mesophotic coral reefs research facility based on two 20’ shipping containers. Utilizing solar and battery technology, these containers can be used to support technical diving, AUV bathymetric mapping, and coral collection activities with little to no local infrastructure requirements. Fully loaded in the USVI, these containers can support up to 3 months of research activities without any renewal of breathing gases.
