This W Ridgway green relief jug has a distinctive and rare bulrushes pattern. The piece is impressed with a markers mark and date: published by/ W. RIDGWAY & Co/HANLEY/October 1, 1835. This 9-inch-high jug is in excellent condition and is part of the collections of the Timberly Trust Moseley Homestead, a National Register of Historic Places site in Florida. In collaboration with the University of South Florida Libraries Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections, we are using 3D scanning and imaging technologies to create an archive of the homestead and objects that relate to the history and story of this place and the people who lived there.
