Replica of Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest

Thomas Jefferson was an accomplished architect who built Monticello & many other notable buildings. Poplar Forest was a house that he built to take a break from Monticello.

This 3D model was made from pictures taken of a replica of Jefferson’s Poplar Forest. This is a first draft, and I hope to re-scan this house to correct some of the obvious distortion. In 2017, I also hope to scan the “real” Poplar Forest and compare the two buildings.
