Requiem https://www.artstation.com/araghulijanyan I’m happy to present my work titled “Requiem.” The main goal in terms of meaning was to achieve a sense of generalization — but without slipping into abstraction. There are many details I reflected on, and I tried to make the sculpture look interesting from different angles, with symbolic weight not concentrated in a single spot. Still, the center of the whole composition — as the most perfect form, or perhaps an allegory of the Earth — is a small sphere held in the hand of a figure, or perhaps shown to us. The sculpture was created in ZBrush, and rendered in KeyShot. I designed the sculpture with the intent that it could be 3D printed or carved directly in stone. Of course, some additional technical adjustments may be needed for a real-world statue. Overall, this work was a meaningful and valuable experience for me — one that I intend to develop further in future projects. Thank you!
