As a bit of lore for the weapoon, I imagined it was manifactured by a japanese arms company then distributed to an english arms dealer company where it was revamped. A result of this caused the scope to be in a less than ideal place for right handed users due to being a quick and cheaply done addition.

Being an energy focusing weapon the pistol fires a high energy beam that after sustained duration heats up the front heatsink coils to extreme temperatures, requiring a cooldown period before refiring or could risk damaging the internal components. The scope allows for threat identification via night vision and thermal infared sensors which excel in low light scenarios.
