More model informationCreated from a scanned image of a vintage Japanese toy box rather than photographs of a physical object.
This experiment explores the ability of modern AI-assisted tools to generate convincing 3D forms from flat printed artwork. While traces of the original printed shading remain visible in the texture, the resulting model successfully transforms a two-dimensional illustration into a poseable, lightable digital asset suitable for concept art, motion design, collage, visualisation, and personal projects.
An imperfect reconstruction, but a fascinating glimpse into how archival graphics and printed ephemera can be reimagined as three-dimensional objects.
