Setting Info: In the Austrian Alps of Salzburg one chain of mountains peak above all others called the Hochkönig Mountains. Covered in snow, protected by the razor sharp rocks and the steepest ridges you can imagine this mountain region is unbearable. Within the desolate mountains a crater was formed by the snow that would melt in the early summer.
In the midst of the October storms, the pilgrimage of 797 with the Jesus of Nazareth carriage making its way through the unbearable isolated mountain passages. At one point the pilgrims couldn’t see where they were walking anymore because of the snow storm that blinded their sight. Leading their pilgrimage on a frozen lake. One of the struggling horses carrying the carriage slipped and the carriage fell through the ice. The impact of the fall was so big the ice around the Pilgrims cracked and broke.
