“Carved from twelve joined pieces of wood, covered with five layers of lacquer, and then painted, this sculpture is the oldest, known surviving Chinese example of its type.” Housed at the Walter’s Art Museum here in Baltimore. I will be rebuilding the sculpture using photogrammetry and digital sculpting. Will update periodically with updates.
