I haven’t done much optimisation of the low poly mesh yet. I also need to add a few boolean cuts, one for the belt hook on the hilt and one on the blade emitter.
The maps were generated from a double turbo-smoothed mesh. A turbosmooth on the smoothing groups and then one on top, not smoothed. I’d like to revisit the smoothing and insert proper edgeloops to smooth off some of the hard edges and make it look more worn.
