More model informationThis is a great example of a Rhinocephalus planiceps fish skull from the London Clay of the Isle of Sheppey. This is very similar to modern Hake fish but this skull dates back to the Ypresian, Eocene, 50-54 million years ago. This was found on the North Coast of the Isle of Sheppey by Fred Clouter. I’ve also updated a CT scan of this same skull - see CT scan collections. To find out more about London Clay fish, please visit www.londonclayfossils.com.
