starting with the small rhombicuboctahedron (an archimedean solid with 18 squares and 8 triangles), the edges are thrown out and replaced with an X across the corners of each square. all possible pairs of vertices are connected by thin threads, and a couple of glowing central spheres are added for extra depth. drawn in mathematica and exported in .3ds format for your viewing pleasure.
