Ridge Church - Petra, Jordan

The Ridge Church is thought to be the oldest church building in Petra, built on the ridge overlooking the city in the 3rd or 4th century built of Nabatean and Roman material.

The Ridge Church is also part of The Petra Church Complex, which consists of three churches: the Ridge Church, Blue Chapel, and Petra Church

The GDH team created this 3D model using approximately 19 Z+F laser scans and 400 GoPro photos, captured in November 2024. The data was processed using Z+F LaserControl, Reality Capture, Meshlab and Blender.

This project was a collaboration between the PDTRA, DoA, GDH, and ACOR.
