More model informationRoman finger ring with gem. In cross-section D-shaped hoop that widens towards the plate. The sharp shoulder corners and the massive shoulders are decorated on the outside with three deep, inwardly tapered grooves leading up to the ring plate. The oval ring plate is cut out on the long sides in an arched, jagged fashion. In a protruding setting is an oval gem. Gem: Capricorn to the right, above the back a cornucopia, under the fish body a helm, above the head an ear of corn. Silver, onyx; ring: dm 2,9 cm; ring: 3rd century AD; gem: 2nd century AD.
