The shield-shaped ring plate is crossed in the middle by a shield-shaped field that rotates from the axis of the ring plate. The field is embellished with a heraldic lion and circumscribed by an inscription that is presumed to read ‘O-I-V’. The solid ring band has a semicircular, faceted profile cross-section and is slightly wider towards the ring shoulder. It is decorated with two solid, highly detailed animal heads, which end in offset, longitudinally engraved rods on the narrow side of the ring plate.
