Baked v001 - 200k tri target, 8k color, 4k normal, 4k ao, 4k curvature
2020.03.02 as the sun was setting over the treeline on the opposite side of the river from where I was, I captured 3 minutes of video of this tree at dusk.
The source video was 4k 24fps and was sampled at roughly 7 fps but tossed a bunch of frames before the colmap dense stereo photogrammetry. (medium img res)
Again, forcing myself to operate under the constraint of not using input image frames as textures during the bake.. instead, only the photogrammetric color buckets encoded into a high-poly mesh (along with normals) are baked down into the output baked textures…
Houdini was used for all geometry work, baking and GLTF export for Sketchfab. The UVs were automatically generated and are ok considering that this is intended to be re-worked and re-mixed into other productions. Please enjoy!
