This carved rock is situated within Rivock Plantation, near the southwestern edge of Rombalds Moor, West Yorkshire.

It was noted by the forestry manager in August 2025 during fieldwork aimed at locating the nearby Slinger Stone, approximately 40 metres WNW. The stone appeared to have been recently uncovered, with the telltale signs of broken, dried soil around the surface.

The motifs consist of two slightly conical cup marks on the western side, located at both the northern and southern ends of the stone. While these depressions aren’t typically cup-shaped, the existence of similar ringed cups on the Slinger Stone supports their likely prehistoric origin. Additionally, on the photogrammetry model they appear to exhibit characteristic phases observed on other prehistoric cup-marked rocks.
