Virtual reconstruction of the recovery site around SunrIde’s rocket HELEN. The 30k rocket launched at Spaceport America Cup 2019 under Team 116 of University of Sheffield, UK.

It reached a 36,274 ft (11,056 m) apogee, landing with only its drogue parachute. The airframe was intact upon recovery and declared ready to fly.

HELEN was the first amateur rocket in 19 years to break the UK Open Altitude Record.

It is the more powerful succesor of last year’s AMY.
