Roman Relief from Pompeii (100 BCE - 100 CE)Your model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
A carved marble relief from Pompeii housed in the North Carolina Museum of Art.
If you look at the back of the relief, you will see some unfinished carvings possibly done as practice or evidence of an earlier mistake. It is also possible that this marble was reused for the current carving on the front and the back of the marble is evidence of an earlier carving for display.
