Romanesque door, St Swithun, Martyr Worthy

The north facing door at the Church of St Swithun, Martyr Worthy, Hampshire. Church rebuilt 1865 and retained older features including this 12th-century door with simple foliage capitals. Its romanesque arch features roundheads of two orders with nook shafts. The outer order has zig-zag work with billet label. The church is a Grade II* Listed Building.
