A large portion of a round-based vessel in the floor deposits of Structure 5 at the Ness of Brodgar. This pottery type is associated with the Early Neolithic period in Orkney, and its presence in Structure 5 is one of several indicators that the building pre-dates most of the other excavated structures by two-to-three hundred years.
