Rover's Panorama of 'Murray Buttes' on Mars 3D Model
This 360-degree panorama was acquired by the Mast Camera (Mastcam) on NASA’s Curiosity Mars rover while the rover was in an area called “Murray Buttes” on lower Mount Sharp, one of the most scenic landscapes yet visited by any Mars rover. See this weblink for more information: [http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/multimedia/images/?ImageID=8065&s=2].
This is a very high resolution photo, so it may take a minute to fully sharpen after the model initially opens. Try using the “First Person” setting on the viewer to “walk around” on Mars.
This 3D model is a test concept developed using several modules in the Earth Volumetric Studio program.
