RSS Ocean

The RSS Ocean is the first ship to be designed for my new faction known as the Republic of Svensberg, an island based nation which is relativly wealthy and prosperous. It has 2 main naval requirements and those are to defend coastal regions and to have a main ocean going fleet to act as a deterance and to project the nations power.

The RCC Ocean was laid down in early 4500 and launched the following year, before being completed in 4502, and served her time in the coastal defence force and partially the Ocean Navy to fill in the gaps. Most of her combat history comes from chasing/attacking pirates and chasing slave ships along the western continental coasts of Suversia, essentially the republics colonial region. If slavers were caught the slaves would be taken off and the ship was sunk regardless of where the slavers came from or whos flag they flew, which caused a few tentions between Svensberg and other countries but they didnt care. The RCC Ocean only battle was the battle of Sulivan plate.
