Late, but I couldn’t help myself ~ I wanted to see if I could get the stop-motion animation working (and I did!). I think animating the point-cloud adds a layer of dynacism to the RTJ hand; again, if you could imagine the individual points increasing or decreasing in real-time as people listening to the album, tweet the hashtag, buy the record, then the model moves from a static to a interactive piece, only appearing when the public engage with RTJ. The use of colour was to reflect the different people that listen as well lending readability to the form. I could’ve added a lot more frames to get the animation a lot more smoother, but for fleshing out my original idea I think it works.
