More model informationMy RTS Level design outcome for my Dissertation looking to Level Design in Real time strategy games. I used Halo wars (2009) as my main source of inspiration and looked to incorporate different elements of their gameplay (use of cover structures for infantry) and set base locations and choke points into the layout of the level.
Features:
-Cover for infantry Units
-High walls to block off ground units and encourage use of aircraft
-Various interactible structures for gaining ground and defending your areas
- The Red circles and rings indicate the range of the unit/ turrets.
These include:
-Two 1-way teleporters
- 6 Barriers
- 2 Artillery Canons
- 2 Bonus Reactors
- 12 Sniper Towers
- 6 Crashed Vehicles (cover)
- 10 Small Building Sockets
- 4 Buildable Turret Sockets
Halo Wars (2009) 3v3 multiplayer map Frozen Valley was used to work out scale. for the model.
