The Siak Sultan’s Shelter House is the house of Mr. Kadhi of the Kingdom of Siak, H. Zakaria which serves as a stopover for the Sultan of Siak Sri Indrapura when he visits Senapelan (Pekanbaru).[1] The Sultan of Siak and his entourage rested for a while in this house before continuing their journey to another Tuan Kadhi house behind the Pekanbaru Grand Mosque or about 1,000 feet to the southeast. This building is under the Sultan Muhammad Ali Abdul Jalil Muazzamsyah bridge, now called the Siak III Bridge in Kampung Bandar, Senapelan, Pekanbaru City, Riau.[2] Located on Jalan Panglima Undan, Sultan Siak’s halfway house is 20 m from the edge of the Siak River.
