The faces of these characters were created using a well-known photograph of two young men that became popular on the Russian internet in the early 2000s. I enhanced the original image using AI. To this day, the photo is still frequently used as the basis for memes mocking so-called “vatniks” (hardline pro-Kremlin nationalists) and various social outcasts.
